Schneck combines neck support and warmth in one convenient product. The shawl and neck pillow can be used together or separately, giving you flexibility from a plane seat to a treatment chair to the couch at home. The shawl runs long, wrapping your shoulders and falling well over your lap, with two built-in pockets to keep your hands warm and your phone, keys, or tissues close.

The Story

The moment Schneck became real.

It started on a flight home to New York.

Airports were beginning to reopen. Travel was slowly starting to return. On that particular flight, Runnako found herself unusually cold, which was strange, because being cold on a plane had never really bothered her before.

Sitting there, trying to get comfortable, she thought to herself:

"I wish I had a shawl attached to my neck pillow."

She could have asked for a blanket. But she wanted something different. Something cozy. Something warm. Something she could keep and use again and again, on the plane and long after she landed.

A cold cabin, and one small wish.

That night, she called one of her girlfriends and told her about the idea. Her friend loved it. Being human, Runnako didn't jump right in. She waited. She traveled more. And the more she traveled, the more she noticed the value of what she had envisioned. Eventually she told herself, "You need to move forward with this. Take the chance." So she did.

As she continued developing the idea, that same girlfriend said something that opened her eyes to something bigger:

"I wish Schneck had been around when my mom was going through chemotherapy. The treatment room was always so cool, and this would have made her feel so warm and cozy."

What started as a simple solution to her own discomfort on a flight became something much bigger. Schneck could bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of coziness to people in many different situations. Travelers. Patients. Caregivers. Anyone who spends long periods sitting still.

Schneck was born from a moment of discomfort, but it grew from a desire to bring comfort to others.

A Note From The Founder

Schneck is more than a product to me.

I am a little Caribbean girl who migrated to America at the age of sixteen because I dreamed of going to college here. My parents made a tremendous sacrifice to give me that opportunity, and I will always be grateful for the courage, love, and belief they poured into me.

Growing up, I was surrounded by entrepreneurs. My dad cooked and catered while still working his regular job, not because he had to, but because he genuinely enjoyed creating something people loved. Watching my family left a lasting impression on me. I saw the joy on people's faces when they received something that made them happy, and I thought, one day, I want to create something that brings that same kind of joy to people.

Years later, Schneck came into my life.

My dream is for Schneck to become a global brand with a heart. A business that not only brings warmth and comfort to the person wearing it, but helps bring hope and support to people who need it. A portion of every Schneck sold will go to causes making a difference in people's lives. I want Schneck to go around the world and take kindness with it.
